Re: Rule Changes

Those nostalgic boys would probably say that this game STILL does not even have all the proper CRP rules so good luck on getting optional extras. ;) Why would just the "nostalgia boys" say that? It's straightforwardly true. Anyone who has read the rules should find it very obvious. (I was a couple ...

Re: How to fix 'Snow Stadium Issue'

I think the 'Snow Stadium Issue' might be a Single Player thing ... which is why people aren't bombarding the forums with pleas for help, I guess - though that's what I would have expected. Perhaps it's not even the case that everyone's Single Player sessions suffers from it ... but it is definitel...

Re: Dark Elf - Assassin in starting roster?

No. Your runner's first skill should be a stat boost. :D I like Dodge in any event. You are usually going to want to have it no matter what runner build you choose, and you don't have to make a decision yet about the actual role for the player. (You've got choices about what you want the runner to d...

Re: I've got 12 players - how do I chose who to bench?

What others have said is true.

Do note that there is a still a bug which sometimes forces you to play a 0 SPP player and does not permit you to swap them out. Don't let this confuse you. The method describe by others is correct, the game is just broken in places.

Re: New recruit at Cyanide

I should be able to help you with some of the questions you may have (my knowledge of the game being limited) and will make sure to find answers to the others. Welcome. The fact that your knowledge of the game is limited may make it difficult to help with many of our questions. The chilly reception...

Re: Very odd games in chaos edition

He absolutely has to have at least one armor roll on each player, though. Not if they were all surfed ;) Not sure how I could have said that better. I meant that he has to get past the armor roll in some way for every player. It doesn't matter how that is (either because of a successful armor roll ...

Re: Use both Block and Wrestle on same guy?

It's been generally disliked as a suggestion here, but it is at least plausible to take on a blitzer type that already has block, in order to make a hunter for ball-carriers. While I'm willing to consider adding Wrestle to blitzer types who already come stocked with Block, I'm not sure I'm fond of t...

Re: Very odd games in chaos edition

More armor rolls increases overall probabilty of such a chain of events. Not really. In order for this to have happened, he's going to have to have had armor rolls for all of his players. As you have rightly pointed out, the probability of THIS happening is extremely dependent on the other things g...

Re: Very odd games in chaos edition

Little else can usefully be said without you providing a replay. The odds against what you've described are so slim that we, to be rational, have to believe it more likely that you are either mistaken or attempting to deceive. If you were actually trying to play the games normally, then the chances ...
