NFL Poll

Postby Thsin » 10 October 2011, 19:19

I remember the most sad loss for me in the forum crash was of my old NFL poll. The fact I'm going to the Wembley game this year has made me decide to re-launch it. So go on everybody, just post your favourite NFL team (football team for the Americans ;) )

I'll get the ball rolling with the Chicago Bears. Last time around it seemed I was the only Bears fan on the forums so let's hope there's another out there. :)

NFL Teams

Oakland Raiders: 3
Minnesota Vikings: 2
Dallas Cowboys: 2
Washington Redskins: 2
Chicago Bears: 2
Pittsburgh Steelers: 2
Green Bay Packers: 2
Tampa Bay Buccaneers: 2
Detroit Lions: 1
New York Giants: 1
New Orleans Saints: 1
St Louis Rams: 1
Philadelphia Eagles: 1
New England Patriots: 1
San Diego Chargers: 1
Carolina Panthers: 1
Seattle Seahawks: 1

Long time Raiders fan :D

America's Winningest* Team... who no longer win

*Spot the made up 'american' word loosely dressed as a technical term. ;)

But on a more serious note; RIP Al Davis - the soul of the Raiders.

Yeah, RIP Al Davis.. I'm not totally convinced that its a _bad_ thing for the Raiders organisation though - his judgement didnt seem all that solid in later years. Ofcourse, that in no way takes away from his lifetime achivement, very important guy for the sport.

Me? Steelers fan. And like others have mentioned about their teams.. It doesent really look like my team is going to have a very good season either.. *shudder* The D looks old and slow, and Big Ben cant seem to compensate for the lack of an offensive line like he did last year.. And Mendenhall? MENDENHALL? WTF has happened there, seriously.. The guy is just plain BAD this year. Tsk. Oh well.. We've got Wallace.. Its something :P

Redskins, and happy we've already won more games this season then we expected to!

I love the Seahawks in the NFC, and the Bills in the AFC.
The ultimate sin of Nuffle is for a head coach to conceed a match. Nuffle will curse your block dice with skulls and number dice with ones if he does not get his full 16 turns of dues.

If you had to pick one which would it be? Sorry but I can only put 1 team on the results. :)

I agree that for all his achievements in the past Al Davis just had too much influence on present-day team development... or rather lack of development. The Raiders are somewhat stuck in the 'big play' mentality that was the thing that originally drew me to them in the first place and whilst its always nice to pull off the big plays every now and then you have to get the bread and butter plays sorted otherwise you just become predictable. Still 3-2 at the moment with plenty of time yet to bugger things up - lets hope the Spirit of Al will spur them on as it did this past weekend.

still fan of the vikings even tho they got a really tough start, 1-4, but it could be 3-2 with a bit more luck or focus.

As for the superbowl, the packers (still) looks amazing this season, they could make the back-to-back, gonna be interesting

voilà ...

Dunno about that...
If they held focus all 60 minutes every game, then they would be 5-0 :? ...
Vikings have had the lead at halftime by atleast 10 point EVERY game this year...
