Can I go and play it with people not familiar with Blood Bowl, or would it require lengthy explanations for them to be able to play?

No, no real knowledge of Blood Bowl is needed.
Galak 3:16 says "There is a point in time that a player really should read the rulebook."

Nope, I was talking about a 0TTD on a Blitz! using TTM.

Blood Bowl Team Manager is what actually got me into playing Blood Bowl itself.

I come from a boardgaming background but have a grduge against GamesWorkshop so have avoided getting hooked into any more of thier games. I had previously heard of Blood Bowl but kept away from it before I discover the PC version.

I've bought it, it plays good, but the instruction is rubbish.

I've had it for awhile and really enjoy it. The instructions aren't too bad in my opinion.

I find it's easiest to teach people how to play by just making them play.
It's really simple to understand, but the rules make it impossible to figure out or explain.
