Any Other Southern California Blood Bowl Players Out There..

Postby HC-Vanselow » 05 March 2013, 08:56

:geek: Greetings from Long Beach...I'm just wondering if there is anybody else from Southern California who enjoys the "Astrogranite Anarchy" known as Blood Bowl as much as I do ??? Well I'm off to check out my Human squad (The Citadel Centurions) and I look forward to hearing from someone soon.

I know there's a few TT players in California, but I'm not sure where (yes, I know it's a big place).
A good place to check for US-based players is the Zlurpee forum: http://zlurpeebowl.com/Forums/index.php
- it's mainly about tournaments, but you'll probably find info on players there.
Galak 3:16 says "There is a point in time that a player really should read the rulebook."

Nope, I was talking about a 0TTD on a Blitz! using TTM.

Wish I could help HC-Vanselow, but I am currently stuck in Idaho when I am not dealing with issues in Utah, Wyoming or Montana.
I am from La Crescenta, up past Glendale.
Maybe the year the job finally gets done here, I will be home again.

Some time, some when.
I am really tired of the weather.
The "Rugged Individualist" view of life here gets a bit tiring too.
Granted, the "Extreme Liberalism" of some back home is even more ridiculous.
I miss just about everything from back home though.
Some days just a photo of a palm tree gets me going.

Oh well, life is hard and then you die.
"California Dreaming" is not just a song for me.

Goodness, gracious, do you really want to know all of that mess HC-Vanselow?!?

BTW, I am from in the mountains (the western San Gabriels) in California too.
That meant the altitude change was not too great.
Not as if I was from Long Beach at just about sea-level you know.

I guess the simple answer is that it was a combination of factors from university training & experiences to blood family, from religious/faith issues to military service, from the woman I married to employment opporunities on to just downright plain bad luck and some-, any- and every-thing, -body, -one in between.
And that is JUST the simple answer!

You know what the worst part of all of it is HC-Vaneslow?
I see no way out of here whatsoever!
It will take serious discretionary and then life-sustaining means, that I do not have, to get back home.
With the way the economy looks it will be for the foreseeable future, I am stuck here for the mortal duration.
Such is my fate.
