Game does not work on Bootcamp

Postby tself55 » 09 September 2015, 02:03

It seems that Cyanide failed to test the game on an Apple machine running Windows via Bootcamp. Since the AMD drivers for bootcamp are different from the current windows AMD drivers, and the errors myself, and others on this forum and the steam community forums are experiencing have to do with the AMD driver crashing unexpectedly, this is the apparent reason for the failure to load the game properly.

Can we get a response on whether they tested on these drivers, or will the game be fixed to be compatible with bootcamp systems? Most games nowadays have no trouble being ran on an Apple machine, so Cyanide must really suck at driver testing.

Second this, it explains the problems I had today as well. It is troubling because the system requirements only read requires windows vista 7, or 8 and a selection of graphics cards.

I'd like to see either a commitment to fix this or a refund offer. It's really disappointing that this was allowed to happen. As OP says every other game out there runs on boot camp with no problems
