Postby dragonwolf » 09 July 2016, 15:52

Hi guys

I bought an igor and i never seemed to be offered to use it despite Ko and injuries. I assumed it worked like an appo but clearly it does not . Is it for death only?

Can you explain to meet how it works ? I feel i missed something

Igor allows you to reroll a failed Regeneration, that's it (so no help for Ghouls at all, no way to use on a KO).

Thanks Sid
It s a waste of money clearly as it is the same price than an appo .It is like buying a PRO roll for the price of RR , it s a rip off and no use on ghoul that is frustrating . Any reason for that ? Why was it design not to be used on ghouls?

I will know that for next time

A reroll for regen is huge. It's no use to ghouls as they don't have regen, and they don't have regen for balance issues.

Nope, I was talking about a 0TTD on a Blitz! using TTM.

While i accept it is not available for ghouls , i do not necessary understand why ( if you can afford an igor it should be availabale for the entire team ) . I consider it overprice as it has a much limited use compared to an appo and can not even keep Ko on the field . Anyway thank you for your answer guys

Ghouls are not reanimated dead in the same way as the others.

You can't use it for KO because Igor's don't do that. It's not their role.

From a game design perspective, it makes a lot of sense. Undead don't get to apo because they have regen. This makes them very durable, both in terms of players preserved for the second half, and in terms of longevity. As a counterpoint, the ghouls, lacking both regen AND the apo, are deliberately short-lived. And going from 50% chance to save your best mummy's unlife to 75% can be a pretty big deal. If it's not worth it to you: fine, don't get one. It does what it said on the box, it's still your choice to buy it or not.
